DT Videolabs Playback Pro Plus
PlaybackPro Plus X is the expansion of the core PlaybackPro(X) feature set and adds a mixer for crossfades and direct cuts between clips, support for still images and remote control over ethernet with the new DT18 Multi-System Controller or TCP/UDP commands. It makes professional media playback on a Mac quick and simple. By using the fully modernized 64bit Apple media engine, PlaybackPro Plus X has been optimized to play most modern Mac file types and UHD resolutions. The familiar and intuitive and modernized interface allows a user to rapidly add media, organize and play clips, set transition times, apply custom settings and save runlists for instant recall, all without altering the original files. The expanded yet flexible show controls allow users to quickly gain confidence and proficiency with the nonlinear function of PlaybackPro Plus X.
Remote control and multi-system video rolls are possible with PlaybackPro Plus X. Using the new DT18 Multi-System Controller, TCP, UDP or SimpleSync options, a remote device can send commands over an ethernet network to control many functions within PlaybackPro Plus X. A complete list of commands is available in the PlaybackPro Plus X User Guide.
Like PlaybackPro X, automatic output resolution and aspect ratio functions are built-in, with real-time manual adjustments available for sizing, stretching and cropping, as well as gain, saturation, gamma, black levels and volume.
Connecting a PlaybackPro Plus X system is simple, too. By using modern Apple video adapters or third party broadcast converters, a Mac easily connects with high-resolution monitors, video walls, video projectors and professional switchers.
